  4. Pour in the white wine and stir until it’s mostly absorbed by the rice.
  5. Begin adding the warm chicken or vegetable broth, one ladle at a time, stirring constantly and allowing each ladle to be absorbed before adding the next.
  6. Continue this process until the rice is creamy and cooked al dente, about 18-20 minutes.
  7. Stir in the roasted butternut squash, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh thyme leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat, cover, and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and thyme leaves if desired.
