Tender BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slider buns
- Coleslaw for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Remove the cooked pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
- Toast the slider buns in the oven until they are lightly browned.
