Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Remove the cooked pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Place the shredded pork back into the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  5. Toast the slider buns in the oven until they are lightly browned.
